2 ) Covid-19 Testing
The arrival of COVID-19’s Omicron variant has led to a rapid increase in cases unlike any seen during the pandemic so far, setting daily case count records and increasing the demand for rapid and PCR testing that exceeds local and provincial capacity. As a result, PCR and Rapid Antigen Tests are being prioritized for those most at risk for severe illness and who work or live in the highest-risk settings. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, please self-isolate immediately and review the self-isolation requirements.
Effective December 31, 2021, the Province of Ontario has updated the eligibility criteria for accessing a COVID-19 PCR test.
